Occupational Hygiene - Workplace Air Monitoring

Without realising, you and your employees could be affected by breathing in hazardous dusts and fumes. Our air monitoring will involve taking an air sample to measure the amount of airborne substances in your working environment.

Managing the air monitoring process is important as companies need to show compliance with WEL (Workplace Exposure Limit) and BMGV (Biological Monitoring Guidance Value). Monitoring the air also helps with ensuring the control equipment and the personal protective equipment that you use in your day to day work is working correctly, helping you against the risk of these dusts and fumes.

By monitoring the air, you are increasing the chance to reduce exposure to these harmful substances and as a result these benefits will occur:

  • You will be reducing PPE costs as you know everything will be working correctly.
  • Improve employee morale.
  • Improved employee efficiency as less chance of getting work-related illness.
