They are useful as they remove particles down to 20micron (just visible with the naked eye), have no moving internal parts and can be constant discharge, automatic intermittent discharge or manual intermittent discharge. The manual discharge wastes less water but relies on manual intervention; the constant discharge wastes the maximum amount of water but has no controls to go wrong; the automatic discharge wastes least water but has electrical controls.

They are low maintenance due to the lack of internal moving parts and can be supplied manufactured from 316stainless steel. They are simple and reliable, once installed and have the desired flow will continue to operate uninterrupted for years and give excellent separation of particles from the liquid.

They are simple, reliable and if automatic require no manual intervention with a finer separation size than any sieve.

They are available as single units for flows of 7 to 25m³/h or as multiply units to suit the flow requirements.
