Laminar Flow Booths

Originally developed from work carried out by ICI, Carter’s laminar flow booth is designed to achieve 0.5 m/sec across the vertical open face, in order to give the operator the required protection. Originally designed to meet the needs of powered weighing and mixing operations the booth has since been adapted for other industries including metal finishing industry.  The rear, sides and top panels of the booth stabilize the air movement across the open area and protect the operator from external draughts and turbulence that can be generated by the process.

The booths are sized to suit the available dust extractors to allow the most efficient solution for the materials being worked.
